Hipp – Organic Anti-reflux Milk

A gentle, organic, thickened milk formula that is suitable for the dietary management of reflux and regurgitation.

The addition of the natural thickener carob bean gum allows the formula to thicken in the bottle, helping the feed to stay down. HiPP anti-reflux milk can be used from birth as a sole source of nutrition or as part of a varied weaning diet from six months.

How to use:

Preparing the feed
Preparation of anti-reflux formulas is different to normal infant milks, so please follow all preparation and feeding instructions carefully. Failure to do so may make your baby ill, as powdered milks are not sterile.
1 Wash hands and sterilise all equipment according to the manufacturers’ instructions.
2 Boil 500 ml of freshly run water and leave to cool for 45 minutes. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
3 Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle (referring to the Feeding Guide).
4 Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of scoops of powder – one level scoop of powder to each fluid ounce of water (approx. 30 ml). Level off the powder using the scoop leveller. Do not press the powder.
5 Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and roll between the palms for 5 seconds. Shake for 20 seconds, then leave to stand for 7 minutes to thicken.
6 Shake again, then check that the milk is at feeding temperature (approx. 37ºC). Feed immediately.
